A wild food + art dinner experience.
Join Forage to Feast’s Diego Bonetto and Marnee Fox for an edible art experience to close Cementa19
Mingle with the artists and rub shoulders with locals and project participants, while enjoying a delicious dinner featuring locally foraged ingredients.
As part of the event, members of Kandos School of Cultural Adaptation will speak about their project An Artist, a Farmer and a Scientist Walk into a Bar, architect Momoyo Kaijima (all the way from Tokyo) will engage in conversation with curator Anthony Bond OAM and artist Sarah Breen Lovett to consider the role that arts and culture can play in the regeneration of regional communities and we will finish off with an ‘earth poem’ from festival creative Alex Wisser.
EAT WEEDS! is hosted at Kandos Community Hall, where you will share a tasty buffet style weedy feast paired with local wine from De Beaurepaire Winery.
Menu items such as Weedy pesto pasta, Wild Fennel & Warrigal greens tart and Mulberry pies with Lemon Myrtle cream are sure to spark your curiosity as well as your tastebuds.
This will be a fantastic opportunity to unwind and debrief after four days of art, performance and creative experiences with a glass of wine and great company while eating sustainable, local and exciting food.
$15 from every ticket sold will go directly to support the great work of Cementa Inc in the future.
